Tony Gillies off to Melbourne

Tony Gillies has been selected as the Auckland exchange umpire to Melbourne this year. He will be there for a week in February - details to follow. Congratulations!

Training weekend

The ACUA training weekend for the 2009/2010 season was held on the weekend of 19th & 20th September, at the Eden Roskill Cricket Club. An excellent time was had by all!

At the 2009 Auckland Cricket Awards dinner, Peter Gasston won Auckland Umpire of the Year. Other umpires who won awards this season were Tony Gillies (Club Umpire of the Year), David Lowe (Most Club Umpiring Days) and Ben Jackson (Novice Umpire of the Year). Congratulations to all!
